Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in unitized curtain wall manufacturing and/or construction to manage façade and building envelope projects from early design coordination through fabrication, site installation, and close out. Candidates with experience in unitized curtain wall systems will be strongly preferred.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, technically grounded, and comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects through design development, submittals, manufacturing, logistics, installation, and turnover
• Review and coordinate drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, and progress billings
• Coordinate closely with internal design, manufacturing, and site teams
• Interface with architects, consultants, general contractors, and suppliers
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and manage schedule milestones
• Support site activities and conduct job site visits across the GTA
• Identify risks and drive timely resolution with a solutions focused mindset
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing and/or construction
(facades, glazing, aluminum, architectural metals, modular construction, or building envelope)
• Strong understanding of:
◦ Drawings and specifications
◦ Submittals, RFIs, and change management
◦ Project schedules and progress billings
• Demonstrated ability to work across design → manufacturing → logistics → site workflows
• Proficiency with MS Project (or equivalent), Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
• Strong organization, follow through, and communication skills with a bias for action
• Ability to travel to job sites across the GTA; valid G license is an asset
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Unitized curtain wall exposure
• Background with façade or glazing manufacturers
• Professional credentials such as PMP, CET, P.Eng., or EIT
Salary range: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually based on the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, certifications, and demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from award to completion.
