Job Title

Senior Project Manager – Insurance & Data Programs

Location

Hyderabad, India (Global Capability Center / Offshore Delivery)

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex insurance and data

transformation initiatives, including policy administration modernization, regulatory

programs, enterprise data platforms, analytics, and reporting solutions. This role ensures

predictable delivery, regulatory compliance, data quality, and stakeholder alignment across

business, technology, and data teams. The Senior PM partners closely with onshore product,

actuarial, operations, compliance, and engineering leaders to deliver high‑impact outcomes

in a regulated insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Program & Delivery Leadership

•Lead large‑scale insurance initiatives such as Policy Administration modernization,

Regulatory compliance, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and Distribution systems

•Manage end‑to‑end delivery across core insurance platforms, vendor systems, and

in‑house applications

•Drive execution across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models based on

regulatory and data requirements

•Own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management across complex,

multi‑year programs

Data & Analytics Program Management

•Lead data‑centric initiatives including Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), Data

Lakes, Data Marts, Reporting, BI, and Advanced Analytics

•Oversee delivery of data pipelines, ingestion, transformations, and consumption

layers

•Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Governance teams to ensure:

oData quality, reconciliation, and accuracy

oMetadata, lineage, and data definitions

oCompliance with PHI/PII, security, and retention policies•Ensure alignment between business requirements, data models, and downstream

reporting

Regulatory & Compliance Management

•Manage projects subject to insurance regulations, audits, and compliance

requirements

•Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure adherence to

regulatory timelines

•Drive delivery of regulatory reporting, data controls, and evidence artifacts

•Ensure strong documentation, traceability, and governance throughout the project

lifecycle

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

•Act as the primary delivery partner for onshore business leaders, product owners,

and executive sponsors

•Facilitate steering committees, executive reviews, and risk escalations

•Translate complex insurance and data concepts into clear executive‑level updates

•Manage vendor and third‑party dependencies effectively

Governance, Metrics & Process Excellence

•Establish and enforce insurance‑grade delivery governance and controls

•Define and track delivery metrics including schedule health, data quality, defects,

and regulatory milestones

•Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, reporting, and tooling (Jira,

Confluence, dashboards)

•Contribute to PMO standards, templates, and audit‑ready processes

Team Leadership & Mentorship

•Mentor Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts

•Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, data dependencies, and

release planning

•Support PI Planning, quarterly planning, and cross‑program dependency

management

•Foster accountability, ownership, and delivery excellence across teams

Financial & Resource Management

•Manage program budgets, forecasts, and vendor contracts

•Support resource planning, onboarding, and capacity management across data and

insurance teams

•Track value realization, regulatory outcomes, and operational benefits Required Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field

•10+ years of Project / Program Management experience in Insurance, Financial

Services, or regulated domains

•Strong experience delivering data‑driven programs (EDW, Data Platforms, Analytics,

Reporting)

•Proven ability to manage complex dependencies across business, data, and

technology teams

•Hands‑on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, and executive

reporting

•Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

•PMP, PMI‑ACP, SAFe, or equivalent certification

•Experience with Policy Administration systems, Insurance data models, or

Regulatory programs

•Experience in a Global Delivery / GCC model with onshore–offshore coordination

•Exposure to audits, regulatory reviews, and data governance frameworks
