Project Manager

Location: Konin/Gdańsk/Gdynia/Sopot

  • Oversee and manage, greenfield and brownfield, manufacturing and industrial projects within the Buildings Business Line, ensuring effective planning, organization, financial oversight, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage projects from concept and feasibility through engineering, permitting, procurement, construction management, and commissioning phases.
  • Participate in and lead tender processes, working as an integral member of the bid team to secure new manufacturing projects.
  • Advise, mentor, and direct project teams to ensure best practices are followed throughout project delivery.
  • Oversee and manage client and commercial management, including contract administration and risk management, to proactively minimize disputes, complaints, and claims.
  • Engage with clients to understand and manage their expectations and requirements, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate Arcadis and external project resources, including onsite engineers and subcontractors, optimizing team billability and overall project performance.
  • Act as a key contact with clients and partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.

Requirements:

  • Technical education in buildings construction or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically delivering manufacturing and/or industrial construction projects, ideally with experience across all project phases (planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover).
  • Demonstrated track record of managing manufacturing/industrial projects from concept through to completion and handover.
  • Polish building license.
  • Able to manage construction outside of residence, if required.
  • Experience with FIDIC contracts and/or EPCM project delivery models preferred.
  • Prior experience in a consultancy environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing sector requirements is a significant advantage.
  • Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken) required.
  • Strong technical knowledge supported by hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets, contracts, and risk.
  • Agile, adaptable, and responsive to changing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Confident, proactive, solutions-oriented, and client-focused team player.
  • High level of commitment and availability.

The salary range for this position is 19,075 - 28,617 PLN gross.
