Job Title: IT Project Manager

Job Purpose

The IT Project Manager will lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, with a primary focus on implementing and optimizing SAP systems. This role will oversee project delivery, ensure seamless systems integration, and drive digital transformation initiatives to support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage major IT projects or multiple smaller projects, ensuring effective coordination and managing interdependencies.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and initiation to execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to meet project objectives.
  • Implement and manage SAP solutions, with a focus on SAP HANA.
  • Ensure systems integration adheres to best practices and aligns with organizational goals.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop project documentation, reports, and status updates for senior management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated with emerging industry technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT change management, systems integration, and project delivery.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of leading complex IT projects and managing large-scale system integrations.
  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and SAP certifications.

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in change management principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration techniques and best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of integration tools and platforms (e.g., middleware, APIs, ESB).
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Experience implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Special Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is preferred.

Tools: Microsoft Project, Jira, Hybrid methodology, Agile Scrum methodology, MS Office 360, Scrum-KANABAN methodology, Risk Registers in Excel or Smartsheet, SAP Activate methodology, Jira Service Management.
