Senior Project Manager | Pharma

We are seeking a senior project management professional with experience delivering large capital projects to join an innovative and reputable pharmaceutical organisation.

The role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex pharmaceutical projects. You will play a key role in driving projects to success and your expertise in GMP will ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to GMP regulations and guidelines, implementing best practices for quality assurance and control.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
• Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project timelines and quality.
• Manage project resources to optimise project efficiency.
• Monitor and control project budgets and expenditures.
• Establish clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and ensure project activities align with current regulations.

The Person

• Degree in Engineering, Construction or relevant Project Management qualification
• 7+ years of project management sector experience (Life Science, Pharmaceutical or Biotech)
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations
• Solid understanding of bringing projects from inception through to delivery
• Excellent understanding of budget management, schedule management, risk management and stakeholder management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Excellent relationship management experience
