Your new role

Robertson Capital Projects (RCP) is a subsidiary of Robertson Group Ltd and is responsible for bidding, managing, investing in and securing opportunities within the public sector. The company has a strong track record in the provision of Education and Healthcare solutions secured through a combination of different procurement methods, including partnering, framework and private finance.The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects through, the design, construction and handover phases working alongside Clients, Stakeholders and construction professionals. In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Support activities.

  • Act as Hub representative managing the project throughout the project lifecycle including design, construction & defects phase
  • Develop and agree the master programme. Monitor and update the programme as part of the regular reporting
  • Organise, chair and record project meetings with Participants & Contractors as required.
  • Provide regular reports to Hub and Participants as required.
  • Develop a risk register, chair regular risk reviews, monitor and update the risk register as required
  • Monitor information flow between Participant and Contractor to ensure programme deadlines are met.
  • Drive the agreement and development of the Authorities Construction Requirements
  • Monitor Contractors compliance with the ACR’s and Contractors Proposals
  • Ensure the Contractor meets his Statutory obligations in terms of Planning, Building Warrant and any other special consents
  • Ensure the Contractor produces and monitors a Utilities Tracker
  • Manage the development of the Stage 1 & 2 reports.
  • Liaise regularly with the hubco Commercial Team
  • Take responsibility for the co-ordination of the technical information required for the DBDA Agreement
  • Liaise with the hub Legal Manager in advance of and throughout financial close. Provide support where necessary
  • Develop and manage the Financial Close tracker, co-ordinating all parties as required
  • Liaise with and oversee the input of the D&B (and FM) contractors in line with supply chain agreements.
  • Operate approved project processes and procedures, taking specific cognisance of the requirements of the Project Agreement.
  • Ensure the project is operated wholly in accordance with good HS&E practice generally, and specifically in accordance with the Construction Design & Management.
  • Manage the requirements of the Review Procedure
  • Secure completed/compliant Tier 3 Contractor Collateral Warranties from the Tier 1 Contractor
  • Monitor and report on progress against the contract programme
  • Manage the Completion and Handover of Projects in accordance with the requirements of the Project Agreement
  • Manage the defects phase of the project in accordance with the requirements of the Project Agreement
