HIRING A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER IN DALLAS

DBR is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Dallas for the Healthcare team. This role oversees project execution and profitability, ensuring high-quality work, excellent client service, effective staff utilization, contract management, billing, and business development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the financial management of the practice, including tracking profitability, generating and following up on invoices, managing Accounts Receivables (AR) with corporate leadership, and maintaining team billability.
  • Manage and supervise electrical, mechanical and plumbing design production teams, including conducting performance reviews and fostering professional growth.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and scheduling, while identifying when change orders need to be executed.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication for owners, clients, and consultant contractors, representing DBR's interests and technical expertise.
  • Directly report out on budget, scope, and schedule performance to the Healthcare Practice Leader.
  • Oversee all phases of projects, including both the design and construction administration (CA) phases.
  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of CA tasks, such as attending meetings, answering RFIs, and reviewing submittals.
  • Expert knowledge of healthcare-specific electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, codes (e.g., NFPA 99, FGI Guidelines), and project delivery methods. Where role allows PM to work with discipline leads to ease this knowledge.
  • Stay as Engineer of Record as project requires.
  • Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.

LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION

  • Must hold a current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and be eligible for, or currently possess, multi-state registrations.
