In this role, you manage the full EPC lifecycle of BESS projects – from engineering to commissioning, COD, and handover. You shape change by ensuring that technically complex and commercially significant energy projects are delivered successfully. Your work environment is defined by team spirit on equal footing, clear responsibilities, and a mindset that rethinks energy.
Your Mission – what awaits you:
• EPC Lifecycle Management – Coordinating the entire project execution process across all phases: engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, COD, and handover. Ensuring that technical, contractual, and commercial requirements are met throughout the process.
• Planning & Control – Developing and managing schedules, budgets, resource plans, execution strategies, and documentation structures; identifying deviations early and taking targeted measures to secure project success.
• Stakeholder Management – Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, utilities, lenders, regulatory bodies, and external partners; aligning expectations, consolidating information, and supporting transparent decision‑making.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination – Steering collaboration between engineering, procurement, commissioning, safety, logistics, quality, and finance to ensure that all work packages progress on time and within scope.
• Contract & Site Management – Reviewing and managing contract terms with suppliers and contractors, including scope, warranties, interfaces, risks, and claims; regularly visiting construction sites to monitor installation progress and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Your Profile – required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering.
• Preferred project management certification.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field considered an advantage.
• Three to five years of experience in PM roles within EPC BESS, PV, or comparable grid‑connected energy projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, change management processes, performance guarantees, and in both German and English C1 Level.
What makes this role meaningful:
This position places you at the heart of large‑scale energy storage projects that are key to the energy transition. You work closely with engineering and construction teams, influence project performance directly, and maintain strong visibility through regular site visits. You bring your expertise into cross‑functional collaboration and into improving project workflows, helping shape how complex EPC projects are delivered in the future. With transparent coordination structures, access to international experts, and a culture that values ownership, you gain space to grow professionally while driving impactful energy solutions.
