Pinchin is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Indoor Environmental Quality team in Hamilton ON Area. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this replacement role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise and uphold our commitment to excellence.

As the ideal candidate, you have demonstrated success in managing IEQ consulting services and are excited by the opportunity to build and manage your own Client portfolio and provide effective leadership to a project team.

The IEQ department at Pinchin provides specialized IEQ services, such as indoor air quality investigations, Legionella consulting, radon consulting, microbial contamination post-flood/fire consulting, and infection control, to support our Clients’ operations and project needs.

What you will be doing at Pinchin

  • Work in a hybrid model, including office, field, and work-from-home as project demands require
  • Continual development and maintenance of positive business relationships with new and existing Clients
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities for new and existing clients
  • Effectively managing projects start to finish, including acting as a liaison between clients, contractors and other project stakeholders; scope and proposal development; budgeting; project execution; technical support; review and preparation of deliverables; financial performance, and quality control
  • Preparation and review of proposals for IEQ projects
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractor performance and remediation activities
  • Lead and supervise project managers and technologists in their job functions and career growth
  • Train and mentor junior staff, including on the execution of established standard operating procedures and the review of written reports
  • Maintain and enhance quality control of our deliverables following established protocols
  • Collaborate on the effective delivery of projects with project managers and technologists from other divisions and offices
  • Managing time on projects effectively and efficiently
  • Ensuring the well-being and safety of workers and building occupants where Pinchin projects are present
  • Diligent management of WIP, invoicing and AR

What you bring to the Pinchin team

  • 2-5 years of project management experience in the field of Mould and Indoor Air Quality.
  • Motivated, self-starting with a consistently positive attitude, strong initiative, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with building systems: structure, envelope, HVAC etc.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Ontario and federal environmental and health regulations
  • Proven leadership, communication, and client service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical writing/reporting
  • Availability for after-hours, weekend, and occasional out-of-town travel
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and eligible for government security clearances (e.g., PWGSC Secret Level II)

Assets (Preferred but not required):

  • Certifications/designations such as PMP, EP, CRSP, ROH, ROHT, AScT, CET, EIT, or P.Eng.
