We are committed to building a better future through innovation, engineering excellence and collaboration.We are currently seeking a Signalling Senior Project Engineer to join the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGCFR) Project, a transformative rail infrastructure program that will redefine passenger rail travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.Delivered by the ActivUs Alliance, this landmark project will expand the rail corridor from two to four tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh, while delivering major station upgrades, enhanced signalling systems and improved network capacity for South East Queensland.This role will be based at our Beenleigh project office.Key responsibilities Managing scope including upgrade of existing railway signalling infrastructure, and construction and commissioning of new railway signalling infrastructureManaging and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where requiredManaging the effective set-up, delivery and completion of the project including establishing relevant systemsReviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and qualityEffectively assigning tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specificationsMonitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against programme and budget as well as undertaking other administrative duties as required About YouMinimum 7 years’ experience with the Rail Signalling Industry - ESSENTIALManage self and team within discipline to deliver work between $10 and $50MProven ability to develop methodologies to ensure compliance with scope of works and technical criteriaDemonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost, reporting on risk and developing and implementing risk treatment plansTertiary Qualifications in Engineering (Mech or Elec.) at degree level will be preferred but not essentialQueensland Rail Engineering Statement of Competency will be preferred but not essentialExperience in reviewing design documentation, providing constructive critic (‘constructability’ input) and implementing final designs.Australian C Class Driver’s License About UGLAs a member of the CIMIC Group of companies, we value diversity in our team’s backgrounds, ideas, work styles.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourage applications from women, people with disabilities, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, mature aged workers and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds.
