As a(Senior)Project Engineer you will be part of theCMFR&D team, helping our customersand their teams restore form,functionand hope to the patients around the world.
With our team, you willbe responsible fordesigning, developing,testingand supporting thephysicalcomponents (implants) of a system product.
What You Will Do:
In thisroleyou willbe partofthe productdevelopmentactivities for existing custom CMF implants within an interdisciplinary team.
You will supportnew productdevelopment projects with specificationcreation throughoutfinalization, mechanicalengineering analysisand prototype realization and willindependentlywork on your own set of tasksin accordance withthe project timeline.You will ensure interface communication between software, hardware, and processdevelopment.
You will coordinate and conduct product safety and performance tests in collaboration withthe biomechanical testing laboratory and provide support in design validation and productapproval.
You will independently take ona largeportionof the documentation workrelatedtohardwaretopics in coordination withQualityAssurance
Overall, you act as an important and competent contact person for thetechleadof the project as well as all other relevant stakeholders(e.g.manufacturing,biomechanicaltesting lab,quality, and process development departments.)
What you will need:
Required:
Master’s degree in engineering, medicaltechnologyora relatedfield.
You have already gained experience in product and/or system development, projectexecution &verification& validation
Excellent interpersonal skills –highdegree of independence, communication skills as wellas a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
You enjoy delving intonew problemsand familiarizing yourself with them.
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
Preferred:
3-5 years of professional experience in product development, project execution &verification& validation
Good knowledge of biomechanical testing, materials, and process design.
Good knowledge of differentmanufacturing technologies,e.g.CNC milling, 3D printing
Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably in medical devices
