Together, we are backed by the global strength of ACS Group, one of the world's leading infrastructure and data centre construction organisations.As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll gain exposure to design, procurement, construction, commissioning and client interfaces, providing broader project experience and greater influence over project outcomes than traditional delivery models.The OpportunityReporting to the MEP Construction Manager, you will take ownership of critical mechanical packages across major hyperscale data centre projects, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery from design through to commissioning and handover. Drawing on your technical expertise and project delivery experience, you will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of mechanical services packages from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors to achieve safety, quality, commercial and programme objectives.Drive technical coordination of HVAC systems, chilled water networks, critical cooling infrastructure and mechanical plant.Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls, ICT, BMS, fire and commissioning disciplines.Review designs, identify constructability opportunities and mitigate project risks.Monitor project performance and contribute to schedule, cost, quality and reporting outcomes.Support procurement, cost management and contract administration activities.Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.You'll BringDegree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer delivering mechanical services packages on major construction, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.Strong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, critical cooling infrastructure and mechanical building services.Experience supporting data centres, healthcare, defence, transport, industrial or other complex commercial building projects.Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple stakeholder interfaces.Strong communication, planning, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.Career Growth & Long-Term PipelineThis is more than a project role.Australia's continued investment in AI infrastructure, cloud services and digital connectivity is driving an unprecedented pipeline of hyperscale data centre developments.
