Objetive:
Responsible for coordination of project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, activities, and milestones in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders. Bridges the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers. Often functions as assistant project manager with an engineering background. Ascertains that engineering work is done according to plan by helping with design interpretation. Reviews bill of materials/project schedules/forecasts for accuracy.This role would apply to those with an engineering background.
Principal Responsibilities:
·Ensures Worley methodologies, processes, tools and systems are used throughout the project and compliance requirements are met/satisfied.
·Applies knowledge of all aspects of a project (engineering, procurement, quality control, etc.) to oversee the successful execution of the project plan.
·Ensures design team is aware and complying with customer Basis of Design and applicable codes and regulations.
·Demonstrates attention to detail.
·Demonstrated understanding of EPC project delivery workflow and coordination.
·Basic exposure and understanding of procurement/subcontracting and on-site construction support
·Translates contract requirements for project scope into Worley scope of services and deliverables.
·Ensures project schedules and resource plans are developed and utilized in managing the project tasks.
·Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress.
·Develops action plans to address project tasks and issues.
·Good understanding of Project Control Reports and identified problem areas.
·Experienced in successful multi-office workshare execution.
·Promotes Value Creation and Sustainable Solutions objectives for project.
·Identifies and understands the customer’s key drivers (KPIs).
·Manages customer representatives (established relationship) and other significant stakeholders.
·Manages and nurtures customer and stakeholder relationship based on established expectation
·and communication protocols.
·Nurtures relationships with external vendors and suppliers, communicating key project drivers
·Develops a relationship of trust and respect with ability to discuss project progress, challenges and issues in a transparent manner.
·Identifies potential risks or new risks as the project progresses and effectively develops risk mitigation, contingency and resolution plans.
·Follows Worley risk management procedures.
·Keeps detailed project risk register that stays current and is tracked & communicated on a regular basis (at least monthly).
·Utilizes Risk Register items as the basis for any project contingency budget.
What you will bring
🔍 Requirements:
·University degree with professional registration in local jurisdiction.
·Typically 15+ years engineering experience, including 10 years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience; Workshare experience; E, EP project experience.
·EPCM, EPC including site assignments; Multi-Cultural / Multi-National environments
·Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
·Competent in Microsoft Access and Visio.
·Certified Project Management Professional by a globally recognized project management organization (IPMA, APM, PMI, AIPM) is a plus.
