
To strengthen our team in executing investment projects at our cocoa plant in Hamburg, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer (m/f/d) to join our engineering team. The position is initially limited to 2 years with the possibility to prolong the contract.
Your Responsibilities
Full responsibility for individual investment projects at the site
Planning and execution of technical projects in the areas of production and infrastructure
Preparation of project applications and coordination with internal stakeholders
Support in preparing building permit applications in close cooperation with architects and external partners
Construction supervision during project implementation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Schedule and cost control as well as regular reporting to the Head of Engineering and, if applicable, the Steering Committee
Coordination of suppliers and service providers
Liaison with authorities (BUKEA, HPA, Occupational Safety Office, Fire Department) as part of approval procedures
Your Profile
Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Proven professional experience (min. 4 years) in project planning and execution, ideally in the food or manufacturing industry
Knowledge of construction and approval procedures, as well as authority management
Strong organizational skills and cost awareness
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Fluent German and good level of English, both written and spoken
