The opportunity
We are expanding and looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our growing global team. In this role, you willbe responsible forthe design, engineering, and delivery of climate systems within HVDC projects, ensuring the reliable operation of HVDC stations around the world, from deserts to arctic regions, both onshore and offshore.

This role is based in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden.
Howyou’llmake an impact
Lead the technical design and engineering of climate systems for HVDC converter stations, including reviewing designs, drawings, and documentation.
Perform design calculations and develop system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective integration of climate systems within overall HVDC plant designs.
Support all project phases—from tendering and conceptual design to detailed engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning—ensuring quality andtimelyexecution.
Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements, ASHRAE standards, and internal guidelines.
Assistwith testing, verification, and performance validation during commissioning, including site inspections and on-site support.
Translate customer needs into reliable and compliant climate system solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and mentor junior engineers to support technical development within the team
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in mechanical engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field with a focus on heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Climate Systems or HVAC for industrial or energy facilities.
Provenexpertisein climate system equipment such as chillers, dehumidifiers, air handling units, and integrated monitoring and control sensors.
Solid understanding of psychrometric charts, heat transfer (active/passive), flow diagrams, and control systems.
Experience working on large-scale engineering projects is an advantage.
You should ideally like working in a multicultural environment and be able to express yourself written and spoken in English.Swedish is considered an advantage.
