Our pipeline includes major Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Wind, Hydrogen and Ammonia projects, shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure across Australia.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to join our team on a FIFO basis, supporting the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer (Civil), you will provide technical leadership across all civil and structural construction activities on-site. You’ll play a critical role in driving safety, quality, cost, and schedule outcomes, while supporting the successful delivery of complex and environmentally significant infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on FIFO role, working closely with site and project teams in a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide civil and structural construction activities across the full project lifecycle
  • Manage engineering deliverables, including ITPs, work packs, hold/witness points, and QA documentation
  • Collaborate closely with design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee material take-offs, procurement planning, scheduling inputs, and cost reporting
  • Monitor scope, cost impacts, schedule risks, and identify opportunities for optimisation
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure smooth project completion and handover
  • Maintain accurate project records and contribute to strong document control practices
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers and Junior Engineers on-site
  • Drive a strong safety-first culture across all activities

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering and construction, ideally within large-scale infrastructure, resources, or energy projects
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors on complex construction projects
  • Strong understanding of AS9001 Quality Systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work in a FIFO environment and thrive in a fast-paced site-based role
  • Current driver’s licence
