As our Senior Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring quality is built into new products, manufacturing processes, product transfers, and engineering changes from the earliest stages. Acting as the voice of Quality within cross-functional project teams, you’ll help drive successful product and process launches that meet customer expectations and strengthen manufacturing readiness.

Your impact? You’ll help reduce launch risks, improve product quality, accelerate project execution, and ensure critical Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables are completed effectively. Your contribution will support customer satisfaction, operational excellence, business growth, and the successful introduction of new products and manufacturing processes.

You’ll collaborate with Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other local and global stakeholders, influencing results across teams and helping us create more robust, standardized, efficient, and customer-focused manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning activities for new product development, product transfers, and engineering changes, including special characteristics, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, control plans, measurement system analysis, customer-specific requirements, and early production containment.
  • Coordinate plant-level Production Part Approval Process submissions, launch-readiness reviews, project quality gates, and approval activities to support successful product and process introductions.
  • Identify project and manufacturing risks, coordinate mitigation plans, escalate critical concerns, and support structured problem-solving and corrective-action activities.
  • Represent the Quality function within cross-functional project teams, collaborating with local and global stakeholders on project planning, prototype builds, manufacturing prove-outs, process validation, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Support continuous improvement and audit-readiness initiatives while helping ensure alignment with applicable quality, environmental, health, and safety management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes, product launches, project engineering, quality planning, product transfers, or industrialization activities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, MSA, GD&T, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • The ability to lead and influence cross-functional and multicultural teams, including stakeholders outside a direct reporting relationship.
  • Professional English communication skills, combined with strong project planning, time management, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
