Job Duration - 12 Month Contract Role
Job Purpose
Provides Project delivery capability within the Project Management Office for WCS.
Assists to develop and implement processes and procedures ensuring good practices in project management are set for the organization.
Responsible for preparing project schedules, managing tender processes, coordinating and administering live projects from the Dubai office.
Accountable for schedule control, cost management, budgets, variations, and risk management as per WCS procedures.
Provides status and management reports and engages with clients throughout the project life cycle.
Key Accountabilities
Drive and deliver projects across the WCS business in collaboration with the Lead Project Engineer and stakeholders.
Lead structured project management practices for cost, time, and resource control.
Utilise MS Project to administer project plans and control scope, variations, and deviations.
Plan and schedule works and ensure site team compliance with PMO processes.
Produce weekly and monthly project status reports with variance tracking.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and implementation of safety policies globally.
Act as an ambassador of WCS and DP World when engaging with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
At least 7 years’ experience in project management practices within heavy industry, ideally marine port operations.
Crane knowledge and experience desirable.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Skills
Strong project planning, scheduling, and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Confident communicator at all organizational levels with strong presentation skills.
