Responsibilities

  • Procurement Operations: Manage end-to-end purchase order processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution with approved vendors, and proactively address commercial or supply risks.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support performance and continuous improvement initiatives, from early exploration, to quotation and development phases, including leading negotiations for assigned projects.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Identify and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with SCM to oversee raw material inventory levels and define appropriate replenishment strategies.
  • Strategy Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain strategies, providing data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Data & Documentation Management: Ensure data accuracy and maintain standardized procurement documentation across systems.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Align processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and data consistency, acting as the procurement reference for assigned cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience in purchasing or a related operational role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Solid knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, inventory control principles, and commercial risk assessment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and maintain data accuracy across systems, including ability to run business cases useful to strategically steer negotiations with suppliers.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working cross-functionally with different departments in an international environment.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive negotiations in complex environments.
  • Systems Affinity: Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain tools is considered a plus.
  • Languages: Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage in an international customer and plant network.
