We currently inviting qualified candidates to join our growing international, dynamic, and creative team in Hong Kong.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Responsible for ensuring the overall design intent of the project is incorporated into the detailed documentation.
▪ Responsible for technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project.
▪ Sets the overall strategy for producing the documents and identifies the sheets planned for each stage of the work.
▪ Sets up project team software parameters and manages standards.
▪ Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provides support as necessary.
▪ Regularly communicates with client representative to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and delivery of final presentation.
▪ Provides technical support and project communications to team as required
▪ Participates in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence, technical issues
▪ May prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings and builds models for client/project team review
▪ Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ 15 plus years’ experience preferred.
▪ Registered Architect (HKIA/AIA/RIBA/Equiv.) with current license required.
▪ LEED AP or GA required within 12 months of employment.
▪ Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
▪ Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
▪ Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
▪ Knowledge of QA/QC process, ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
▪ Thorough knowledge of, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IDP).
▪ Proficiency in Revit and strong technical abilities are required
▪ US project experience preferred.
▪ Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
▪ Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, 3D Modeling software such as Rhino/Sketchup preferred.
▪ Ability to lead teams and work effectively with other project leaders to meet deadlines.
▪ Fluent in both spoken and written English required.
