Job Description

The Senior Project Accounting Adm has developed specialized Project Accounting-specific skills through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. They can support their team with limited supervision, and the Senior Project Accounting Adm can be an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. The Senior Project Accounting Adm is skilled in various processes, procedures, and systems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Review and record submitted invoices and documentation
• Work with finance teams to maintain accurate Capital Expenditure Reporting for capital spending
• Work with the accounting department to ensure proper GL and FAS coding of capital items
• Prepare capital invoices covered with GL and FA coding
• Prepare and submit billing for reimbursement
• Review, prepare, and consolidate project finance reporting, including but not limited to Budget Forecast and Cash Flow project
• Review Project closeout documentation for accuracy and completion
• Assist in the preparation of any required financial reports for presentation to stakeholders
• Assist with the coordination of accounting and finance teams regarding financial matters
• Assist with internal and external audits as necessary
• Ad Hoc projects as they arise

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Must have at least more than 2 years of experience in Accounting
• Practical and flexible attitude
• Must be detail-oriented, a team player, and able to effectively work to strict deadlines
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, finance, and accounting systems
• Ability to work in a multi-office, multi-cultural, multi-regulatory project execution environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
