About the opportunity

The Education and Students Portfolio is seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Programs Officer to support the delivery of curriculum and education initiatives within the School of Architecture, Design and Planning. Working closely with academic and professional staff within the Education and Students Portfolio, and the School of Architecture, Design and Planning, you will coordinate projects, governance processes, reporting activities and stakeholder engagement to ensure key priorities are delivered successfully. This role is well suited to someone with strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience, ideally gained in a university, education or similarly complex environment.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintain and coordinate curriculum and education projects, tracking milestones, risks and deliverables.
  • Coordinate governance, reporting and project documentation, including committee support and meeting administration.
  • Engage and collaborate with academic and professional stakeholders to deliver curriculum and faculty initiatives.
  • Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies, providing timely advice and reporting.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, programs or operational activities in a complex environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and engage diverse stakeholders to achieve project outcomes and deliverables.
  • Experience working within a university, higher education institution, or similarly complex organisation will be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting curriculum, education, governance or faculty-based initiatives is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of reports and project documentation.
