Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst - PeopleSoftJob Description

The Senior Programmer Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing applications and supporting users within the current PeopleSoft environment, while actively contributing to the organisation's transition to a cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities

• Code and test programs based on projects assigned by the manager.
• Assist in the creation of design documents.
• Support users by responding to help calls.
• Collaborate on large requests as part of a project team.
• Analyse technical problems and offer solutions.
• Prepare user documentation for developed systems.
• Provide system support outside of normal business hours when necessary.
• Participate in system migration and integration design.
• Develop and support integrations using modern tools such as Workday Studio or Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Engage in data migration, mapping, and validation activities.
• Adhere to information security policies and report security events or potential risks to management.

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft, including Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
• Proficiency in coding with Peoplecode, Application Engine, SQR, Application Designer, PS Query, and other PeopleSoft framework technologies.
• Ability to design, create, and implement new PeopleSoft Modules to support business processes.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL scripts for data processing and research.
• 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and ERP transformation for migration projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Oracle Database experience preferred.
• Knowledge in PeopleSoft Tax Updates (PUM and Change Assistant) is a plus.
• Exposure to or interest in Workday integrations or Oracle Cloud.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to adapt to evolving technologies and platforms.
• A Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
• College degree and/or programming certificate.

Work Environment

Initially, candidates must be willing to commute to downtown Manhattan 4-5 days a week for the first 5-6 months, transitioning to a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The environment is dynamic and high-pressure, characteristic of a legal setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
