Senior Programme Officer Programme Officer (25260517)

The appointee is expected to serve as a key administrator of the Undergraduate Programme of AVA, and will be stationed at Kowloon Tong Campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full range of administrative support to the Bachelor of Arts and Science (Hons) in Arts and Technology Programme, including curriculum-related and quality assurance exercise, admission, course and exam scheduling, recruitment of part-time lecturers, liaison with academic and teaching staff, and exchange activities;
  • Provide secretarial support to various committees of the Programme;
  • Handle students' enquiries and matters;
  • Compile statistics and relevant reports; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by AVA’s Director, Programme Director, AVA Manager and his/her delegate(s).

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of post-qualification work experience preferably in programme administration/tertiary institutions;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Be a good team member with effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently;
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint); and
  • Immediate availability is highly desirable.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as the position of Programme Officer.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
