Job Description

In our continuous journey of growth and evolution at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Senior Programme Manager to play a pivotal role supporting a significant strategic investment programme across our fleet.

As a as a senior programme leader, you will operate across a complex, multi-year transformation environment, guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver meaningful, business-critical outcomes.

This pivotal role will:

  • Provide programme management expertise to a large-scale, complex investment programme spanning multiple workstreams of activity across the business
  • Develop and manage programme activity plans, milestones and identify critical dependencies enabling cross-functional alignment across the various workstreams of activity
  • Establish and manage programme governance, including programme boards, steering committees, and decision-making frameworks, with strong risk and issue management
  • Interpret complex internal and external requirements, advising relevant stakeholders on appropriate governance, controls, and considerations to enable informed decision‑making across the programme
  • Act as a critical point of coordination & alignment across the programme, ensuring momentum maintained and critical risks are surfaced early for resolution.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale, complex transformation programmes in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong programme governance expertise, including risk management, planning, and steering committee leadership
  • Advanced capability in managing dependencies, timelines, and ambiguity across cross-functional initiatives
  • Operates effectively at both strategic and delivery levels, leading through influence and personally driving execution in the absence of direct reports
