In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a team developing and managing small to medium traffic and safety-based capital infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet scope, time, cost, quality and program requirements. You will support program managers through performance monitoring, financial management and forecasting, stakeholder collaboration, business case development and data-driven reporting.

Contribute to strong program oversight by maintaining high data integrity, improving systems and processes and implementing effective tools in a complex, matrixed environment. Your work will support robust governance, continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making to achieve optimal program outcomes.

About you

You are a highly capable and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical expertise and a passion for data accuracy. You bring advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Power Query and have proven experience managing, validating and reconciling complex financial, operational and delivery datasets. With a solid track record in financial forecasting and budget monitoring, you play a key role in supporting effective program governance.

You excel at translating complex information into clear, actionable insights through high-quality reporting and visual dashboards. Your strong stakeholder engagement skills enable you to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and you have a sound understanding of project management lifecycles. You are proactive, solutions-focused and driven by continuous improvement, with experience enhancing program systems, tools and reporting processes to deliver better performance outcomes.

Your proficiency in data management and analytics, with a very high attention to detail and accuracy, program and project system development, and experience in infrastructure related program environments formed across program management, infrastructure, engineering, or safety focused government and industry contexts will see you excel in delivering accurate program reporting, and bringing robust program coordination processes that lead to high quality outcomes and effective decision making.

You’re recognised as collaborative, analytical, detail focused and customer oriented, and skilled at coordinating program documentation with very strong communication skills.

You are experienced in analysing complex datasets, preparing reports, and facilitating program governance forums.

You will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications or extensive demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience. Qualifications in business analytics, engineering, project management, finance, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
