
Scope:
The Senior Program Manager, RME SC Mile Partner, INOps leads all strategic requirements across Amazon India's Sort Center network, encompassing 20 SCs across 12 cities and delivering across the length and breadth of the country. The role oversees nine critical verticals: Safety, Cost, New Technology Initiatives, Reliability Engineering, Base Building Management, Asset Performance Management (APM), Sustainability, Skill Development and Business Analytics across a diverse portfolio of building formats including small, medium, large and Extra Large SC. The role drives transformative initiatives including SC Championships, a technician and Blue Badge skill enhancement and assessment program. The role runs MBRs with Mile Ops Directors and all stakeholder function leaders, maintains strategic connects with HR Leaders and Ops on Voice of Associates to foster a better work environment, manages OP1/OP2 workflows, Blue Badge headcount planning, and Free Cash Flow (FCF) initiatives.

The role partners closely with WWRME team on technician LOTO compliance and janitorial excellence. Internally, the role coordinates with Ops Directors, HR Leaders, WHS, Procurement, Finance, Solution Engineering, Real Estate, Environment teams, and site teams across all regions. Additionally, the role drives safety training programs as corrective and preventive actions post incidents, shaping network-wide safety standards and practices.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic: The role drives the OP budget cycle understanding site-level requirements, while targeting >10% cost savings by encouraging and horizontally deploying FCF initiatives.
Operational: Deliver zero loss time injury and zero serious injury to technicians, drive safety compliance, and drives FCF initiatives.
Financial: Govern RME SC OPEX and enable >10% YoY savings through analytics, spare control, and preventive strategies.
People: Develop technicians and close technical skill gaps through learning programs, capability building and reduced non-technical workload.
A day in the life
The Senior Program Manager, RME SC Mile Partner begins the day by reviewing network safety, reliability, and cost performance, addressing critical escalations across the Sort Center network.
The role partners with Operations, WHS, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering leaders to drive strategic initiatives, business reviews, and annual operating plans.
Throughout the day, the Program Manager analyzes data to identify reliability and cost improvement opportunities, standardizes best practices, and oversees programs spanning safety, sustainability, technician capability, and new technology.
Success requires balancing strategic planning with operational execution while influencing stakeholders to deliver a safer, more reliable, and cost-efficient network.
