In this role, you'll:
Join the Regulatory Transformation & Insights team and play a key role in delivering the RegStar program transforming how regulatory services are designed and delivered across NSW. In this critical role you’ll lead commercial strategy for the RegStar program developing sourcing approaches, commercial strategies and delivering strong value-for-money outcomes.
Act as the commercial lead within the program to drive procurement-led sourcing activities and RFP processes leading and supporting end-to-end procurement, including commercial writing, tender documentation and evaluation. You will be the program point of contact for contracting needs.
Align market engagement with delivery ensuring procurement activities and delivery partner strategies support program timelines.
Manage contracts end-to-end overseeing performance, compliance and value across multiple delivery partners.
Partner across the organisation working with Legal, Finance, Procurement and PMO to enable strong governance and execution.
Provide commercial and financial oversight supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation across the program.
Fixed term, fulltime role to 30 June 2027. Your home base will be Macquarie Park, with hybrid working arrangements.

About you
You’re a commercially astute, strategic program leader who knows how to translate complexity into clear, actionable outcomes. You bring:
• Extensive experience in commercial program delivery and contract management with demonstrated experience leading large, complex programs in matrixed environments.
• A track record of delivering value-for-money outcomes and financial optimisation
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Resilience, adaptability and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Experience working across government or similarly complex organisations (highly regarded)
• Contracts and Commercial background (highly regarded)
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in contracts, law, business, program management or equivalent experience.
