Project / Program Operations

This position is a key management role, leading the delivery of project and programme services initially in Greater China but taking on a pan APAC remit as the Account expands. The Client is a global multinational in the healthcare sector with whom JLL provides end to end services. The position reports to the APAC Account Director, but interfaces with the global PMO Lead based in the US and internal and Client stakeholders across China, APAC and across service lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance, oversight and implementation of programmes of work.

Whilst this role is a Programme Management role for all projects in the region, there are a number of significant large scale manufacturing projects on which the Programme Manager is expected to have a hyper focus. It is expected that regular travel within China to Tianjin would be required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Implementation of an effective programme management structure, including project and programme governance and performance management and driving a culture of continuous improvement in process

· Oversight of, and point of escalation, for dedicated and variable project teams.

· Meeting or exceeding Account / Client KPI’s

Roles and Responsibilities

Working closely with, and reporting to the Global PMO / Programme Lead, the role involves:

· Establish and maintain relationships with key Client Stakeholders and functional leads within the Client organization within the region, manage internal project communications across the programme, including the interface between projects and the business.

· Act as the Client’s single point of contact in the region for strategy, implementation and escalation for capital works, blending Client’s specific requirements with Local Business needs.

· Support the development of a prioritised annual Capital plan with relevant Client stakeholders, including definition of project scope, scale and budget for incorporation into Client’s Capital Planning tools. Proactively manage, track and report status throughout the capital planning cycle

  • Where required, prepare forecasts for project expenditures and assist in the definition of scope and schedule and its management to meet Client objectives.
