What You Will Do *
Program Leadership
Lead large-scale programs, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, budgets, and performance targets.
Direct all program phases from inception through completion and recommend adjustments when needed.
Manage vendor relationships, milestones, detailed program plans, operating budgets, and customer commitments.
Identify program risks and issues, driving timely resolutions including allocation of resources and contract modifications.
Prepare and present value‑stream strategies, progress updates, and results.
Customer Interface & Support
Act as the primary interface to airlines, MROs, and integrated service providers for all in-service product and program support needs.
Represent the voice of the customer to Product General Managers, ensuring aftermarket operational needs are understood and met.
Manage customer escalations regarding risks, schedule impacts, deliverables, and service contract commitments.
Communicate delivery commitments and disruptions transparently to customers.
In‑Service Product Performance & Aftermarket Management
Drive in‑service product performance metrics, including cost, quality, reliability, and delivery.
Lead product reliability processes, ensuring feedback loops for modifications, upgrades, and sustainment plans.
Oversee demand forecasting for spares, retrofits, detail parts, and MRO needs.
Ensure service engineering execution, including technical issue resolution and customer training.
Commercial & Contract Execution
Set pricing parameters and negotiation boundaries aligned with internal strategy guidance.
Lead or support the preparation of proposals, business plans, statements of work, and cost/schedule baselines.
Manage contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Support Agreements or LTAs and resolving commercial issues.
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Support development and execution of product roadmaps, including field data integration and investment prioritization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality across program and service outputs.
Contribute to annual strategic planning and new business growth strategies for the Avionics program management organization.
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have *
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
4+ years of program management experience, preferably in aerospace or complex technical environments.
Strong contract negotiation and program lifecycle management experience.
Financial acumen related to program management, pricing, and commercial analysis.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to travel across the region as needed.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in aftermarket support, service engineering, or reliability management.
Ability to balance commercial, technical, and customer‑driven priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
