The Data Center Logistics Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality Assurance, Transportation, and Compliance) to ensure efficient, reliable, and compliant logistics operations across multiple data center campuses. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, creating multi-platform standardization, and driving continuous improvement. This role will work closely with client stakeholders, external vendors, and company site leadership and will support new data center logistics site implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Coordination
· Lead and align Quality, Transportation, and Compliance teams to client-prescribed SLA metrics.
· Develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps and schedules for internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Provide leadership direction for cross-functional teams to ensure operational success.
· Drive accountability and portfolio progress through regular operational reviews.
Transportation & Material Flow
· Oversee client transportation needs based on demand.
· Shepherd a strong logistics culture around timely material management in order to meet project and deployment schedules.
· Partner with carriers/3PLs for capacity planning, SLA adherence, and cost control.
Quality Assurance
· Lead QA program and drive quality standards for materials and logistics processes.
· Implement growth strategy to meet robust client demands, develop new site implementation standards.
Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure programs are compliant with regulatory, environmental, security, and customer requirements around logistical service delivery.
· Identify client auditing processes and grow internal systems to exceed standards of excellence.
· Identify leading indicators for operational risk and develop dynamic solutions to mitigate them.
· Lead operations teams in building solutions to get in front of issues instead of reacting to them.
Operational Excellence
· Standardize processes, KPIs, and reporting across logistics functions.
· Unify portfolio posture on operations standards.
· Use data analytics to identify inefficiencies within the portfolio.
· Lead cross-functional teams with improvement projects as needed.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
· Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors, including 3PLs, carriers, and safety/compliance partners.
· Communicate program status, risks, and performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
· Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
Budget & Performance Management
· Oversee program budgets and cost-to-serve analysis for transportation, quality, safety, and compliance activities.
· Support planning cycles, forecast operational impacts, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor's in supply chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
· 5–8+ years in logistics, supply chain, or program management.
· Experience managing multiple operational/technical workstreams.
· Exceptionally strong leadership skillset.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
· Strong ability to interpret KPIs and operational data.
Preferred
· Data center, or mission-critical logistics experience.
· Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, Safety/Compliance.
· Familiarity with WMS/TMS/ERP systems and reporting tools.
· Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, environmental, or data center security regulations.
