**Anticipated Vacancy**

The Florida Gaming Control Commission is responsible for exercising all regulatory and executive powers of the state with respect to legal gaming, including pari-mutuel wagering, cardrooms, slot machine facilities, oversight of gaming compacts, and other forms of gambling authorized by state law, excluding the Lottery, as well as directly enforcing Florida’s gaming laws and combatting illegal gambling activities.

The agency is overseen by five Commissioners who are appointed by the Governor, with Commissioners appointing an Executive Director who leads a team of nearly 200 staff members. The mission of the Florida Gaming Control Commission is to preserve and protect the integrity of gaming activities through fair regulation, licensing, effective criminal investigation, and enforcement.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

This is a multi-faceted position reporting to the Director of Administration This position serves the role of contract management auditor within the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) to improve overall processes and assist the contracts managers in planning, documenting, and monitoring contracts.

The incumbent in this position:

• Performs contract management services for all agency IT communications and contracts;
• Ensures adherence strictly to established laws, rules, policies, and procedures;
• Ensures quality assurance by performing compliance reviews of all FGCC contracts and purchase orders;
• Evaluates the quality of internal processes and recommends improvements;
• Produces work such as reports, measures, indicators, and evaluation tools that support objectives and those goals and objectives outlined;
• Manages and oversees the budget allocation for all FGCC contracts;
• Creates and manages FGCC escrow accounts, keeping accurate files and documentation on all FGCC Escrow accounts;
• Provides weekly reports to the Director of Administration; and
• Completes special program projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of methods for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data in reports.
• Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook at a proficient level.
• Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution. This includes strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to analyze reports and daily activities.
• Ability to provide recommendations, solve problems, document workflows, and perform other activities related to program improvement.
• Ability to analyze program and project performance indicators for accuracy and conduct fact-finding research.
• Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques, understand and apply relevant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to analysis reports and program activities, and plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four (4) years of professional experience from one or more of the following fields: Financial/Accounting, Purchasing, Contract Management, or Budget Analysis. A b achelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study may substitute for experience.
• Two (2) years of experience managing administrative programs in project planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience in financial auditing and/or auditing contracts.
• Two (2) years of experience developing program tools and templates for program data reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of experience developing quarterly and annual audit or program reports.
• One (1) year of experience implementing programs, projects, or policies.
• One (1) year of experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data in reports.
• Proficient at an advanced level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Florida Certified Contract Manager certification.
