We are seeking an experiencedtechnicalsolutionsPresalesEngineer based in Penang to drive our enterprise solution portfolio. Unlike traditional product-based roles, this position focuses on designing integrated architectures thatconvergeNetworking, Security,Systemsand Unified Communications (UC). As the dedicated local technical resource, you will be instrumental indemonstratingthe value of complex solutions to customers in the northern region, accelerating sales cycles, and capturing emerging market opportunities such as AI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
The role includesday-to-dayjobduties in the following areas:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the Penang market, providing immediate response and local presence to secure deals and hand-hold partners through the sales cycle.
Integratedsolutiondesignbyidentifyingand analyzingcustomer requirements to design holistic enterprise proposals that align with their business needs, moving beyond individual product silos.
Executea consultativecommunicationto manage extended sales cycles,deliverhigh-impact technical advice, presentations, and Proof of Concepts (POC)
Preparation ofaccurateBill of Materials (BOM)and technical write-ups for large-scale enterprise projects and tenders.
Educate customers on the benefits of next-generationor emergingtechnologysolutions, with a specific focus on AI networkingand systeminfrastructure,Data CenterNetworking, and Secure Networkinglike SD-WAN, SASE, Zero-Trust framework or even Operational Technology (OT)
Collaborate with vendors and system integrators to prospecting business opportunities andmaintainthe necessary certifications to protect partner statuses
Requirements:
Candidate withdegreein Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
At least5-8years of working experiencein designing and troubleshooting complex network architectures.
Shall havestrong fundamentalknowledgeinwired and wirelessnetworkingsolution,such as IPv4IPv6, Wi-Fi 6,ARP,VLAN,Static and Dynamic Routing Protocols,Multicast Routing,Stacking/High Availabilityor equivalent,andcentralmanagement
Knowledgeindata center networking, CloudSecurity,Zero-TrustorOTSecuritytechnologieswill beadded to theadvantage
Proven ability to articulate technology value to both technical and stakeholder audiences, with a focus on enterprise-level outcomes
Receptive to working independently andsupportbusiness growth
A self-starter capable of working independently in the Penang region whilemaintaininghigh standardsof quality and accountability for sales quotas.
