
The Senior Site Civil Engineer / Site Manager role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of Contractors undertaking civil works contracts on largescale generation projects as it delivers on its Net Zero 2040 strategy.
The successful candidate will initially be assigned to a renewable solar project construction site located in the Southeast of Ireland for an expected duration of 6 months and thereafter will work on further largescale generation construction sites, with opportunities including but not limited to Thermal OCGT, Solar Projects and Demolition/Controlled Dismantling of existing Generation Power Station assets. The projects in Ireland are located throughout the country.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project contracts are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, environmental and planning compliance as well as commercial and contract adherence. The role also involves assisting with the mentoring and professional development of junior staff.
The role will involve full-time assignment to the particular project site.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Ireland. The successful candidate will be located at a generation project site on a full-time basis though travel to other Irish based generation projects may be required from time to time. Travel to EMP Head Office in Dublin may also be required from time to time.
The base location associated with this role for the successful candidate will be EMP Offices at The Sidings Building, Dublin 2 or Eastgate, Little Island, Cork.
Reporting To
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Construction, Commercial, and Contracts Group within Generation Engineering Delivery.
