This position requires the operator to read and understand spec sheets for customer machining needs. This position requires the operator to set up the machine to route hinges, bores, holes, latches, and peepholes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to work in a TEAM environment and offer Suggestions to improve SAFETY, QUALITY, DELIVERY, COST and INVENTORY
Additional and Marginal Duties:
May be required to work or assist in other areas throughout the facility, any additional work as directed by supervisor or lead. Attention to detail. Be able to communicate effectively with the Team Leader and Group Manager, and co-workers.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required: Safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and Arm sleeves when necessary
Equipment Use: Pre-use inspection forms, measuring tape, and dock equipment.
Performance Standards:Must be able to complete production needs in a timely manner. Employee must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift. Work overtime, including weekends as needed.
Hazards/Physical Requirements:Noise, Pinch points, bending, dust, slip/trip/fall hazards, PIT hazards, trailer hazards. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Certifications, Licenses, Training: Lock out/Tag out, HazMat, Emergency Response, Slip/Trips/Fall Training
