Job Description

Job Title:

Senior Production Scheduler• Ensure material planning to meet demand and inventory optimization & manage key raw materials and Inventory Control.
• Manage Supply Requirements for manufacturing through understanding internal/external demand based on a rolling forecast and interacting closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service to ensure 100% meeting of both internal & External customer requirements.
• Responsible for service performance / excellence.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ongoing communication with the DPAs and Commercial team in order to gather and analyze customer specific information regarding grades volume and timing.
  • Updating the MIMI-scheduling by maintaining new master data, adding sequence mix, analyzing and eliminating root causes of alerts colors, Checking and rescheduling the old packs etc.
  • Triggering necessary activities in cooperation with different departments to avoid bottleneck situations visible in MIMI.
  • Determining evaluation methods for customers’ volume and variety requirements in order to optimize and control results.
  • Comparing Zemeter data base to MIMI sales planning and driving necessary activities to balance both quantities
  • Managing owned production lines’ exception messages, projected Inventory level in MIMI, OTIF, SOTIF, SPAN, RICO etc.
  • Performing other office duties/ projects as assigned.
  • Coaching junior scheduler to work in right way, Sharing expertise of scheduling and business knowledge.
  • Supporting scheduling leader on some reports during absence, on CI projects and others as assigned.
  • 40% to 50% of working time as MIMI key user, 20% to 30% of working time supporting junior scheduler, 20% to 30% of working time supporting scheduling leader.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Master degree in a business discipline or other related Management field with more than 7 years related experience.
  • Microsoft Excel, Power point and Word.
  • Profound understanding of Zemeter, Akiva, SAP R/3, MIMI or APS knowledge.
  • Conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Requires effective oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Fluent English language.
  • CPIM or six sigma certificate will be highly preferred.
