Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Senior Production Planner in MKS, you will be responsible to collaborate with Master Scheduler, Procurement, Production, Warehouse and Engineering teams to optimize production schedules, capacity and ensure material availability to meet shipment commitment.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Monitor production performance, identify risks such as material shortages or capacity constraints and drive timely recovery actions.

  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels while supporting production and customer delivery requirements.

  • Coordinate engineering changes, New Product Introduction (NPI), and schedule adjustments to minimize operational impact.

  • Prepare and communicate daily production status updates and weekly production and inventory reports to management.

  • Analyze planning and inventory data to improve production efficiency, delivery performance and inventory health.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support cross-functional projects to enhance planning processes.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, inventory management, SAP systems and material planning.

  • Proven experience working closely with Master Scheduling, Procurement, and Production teams to execute production plans.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to analyze data and prepare management reports.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills.
