Job Description

Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

1/ Department Administration

  • Support Head of Department (HoD) in department management, communication and coordination activities.
  • Coordinate department events, meetings, workshops and other engagement activities
  • Coordinate business travel, travel claims, training and other departmental administration
  • Prepare and maintain department documents, reports and management information.

2/ Department Budget Management

  • Plan the department budget in BP (Business Planning) and CFx (Current Forecast)
  • Support session managers to forecast and update budget to adapt business changes
  • Monitor and control budget utilization and deviations and follow up with respective sessions.
  • Analyze budget variances, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions to HoD and section managers.
  • Ensure budget forecast accuracy, on-time submission of budget plans, transparency and compliance of budget utilization

3/ Production Coordination

  • Coordinate production-related activities, priorities and information flow across sessions
  • Coordinate with relevant functions to resolve operational issues and cross-functional topics
  • Support supervisors to coordinate the plant activities for production associates
  • Lead improvement initiatives related to reporting and coordination efficiency

4/ Other tasks assigned by manager

Qualifications

Education:

  • University or College degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Manufacturing or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of budget planning, cost management and financial controlling, manufacturing operations.

Work Experiences:

  • 2–3 years of working experience in a manufacturing plant, business administration, production coordination, controlling or related functions
  • Experience in coordinating activities across multiple teams, departments or cost centers.
  • Experience in administrative coordination, such as event organization, travel arrangements, expense/travel claim processing, training coordination and other departmental activities
  • Experience in preparing reports, consolidating data and following up action items with different stakeholders.
