Senior Production Manager or Project Manager

Requirements:

• Specific in in depth Knowledge of exhibition stands, event structures and temporary architecture.
• Able to read and fully understand designs, renders & technical plans as well as be able to disseminate information to the team.
• In-depth knowledge of Custom fabricated exhibition stand production
• In-depth knowledge of Octanorm modular systems
• XBoard uses, limitations and applications
• Excellent knowledge of Cape Town based suppliers specifically, but not limited to Cape Town
• Knowledge of products such as MDF, Chipboard, Various plastic substrates, Polyester print materials, vinyl printing, solid surface, laminates, lighting etc.
• Able to Break down designs into functional production models/ plans for production.
• Excellent Management capabilities
• Software Requirements
• Sketchup | Basic to Mid. Analysing, Measuring, redrawing for production purposes etc.
• CAD for CNC cut files (Advantageous)

Key Performance Indicators:

• Liaison with the design, sales and project management teams to determine costs for projects.
• Placing of orders with suppliers via the internal order number system
• Tracking expenditure on projects
• Liaison with the production managers on projects with regards to correctly placement and timing of orders.
• Develop relationships with suppliers old and new
• Managing a team/ team to the successful completion of projects.
• Continuous development of systems and internal structures to smooth processes.
• Management of build sites.
• Multiple supplier management.
• Logistics and project planning at a high level. Gant Charts etc.
