As Senior Production Manager (m/f/d) in Electromechanical Equipment Manufacturing, you and your team ensure smooth flow-line production in a modern, clean environment, partly under cleanroom conditions, serving our international customers in the semiconductor industry.

You lead the areas of Production, Device Testing, and Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring compliance with quality standards, monitoring production targets, and managing shift planning. With a solution-oriented mindset, you continuously identify and leverage untapped improvement opportunities within our low-volume manufacturing operations.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Plan and execute activities in the production areas to achieve production, quality, and cost targets.
• Develop and manage procedures and budgets.
• Provide budget recommendations for capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor resources.
• Recruit, develop, and manage personnel.
• Create schedules and determine staffing requirements for assigned areas.
• Design assembly and testing workstations and optimize their integration within the production process.
• Conduct customer visits.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Continuously improve the production environment according to Lean manufacturing principles.

Skills You Bring:

• Completed degree in an Engineering discipline, Natural Sciences field, or related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment with personnel management responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading diverse teams, ideally in a production setting, combined with innovative leadership methods.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and testing processes.
• High level of quality awareness and understanding of handling hazardous materials.
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels in both German and English.
• Results-oriented mindset and openness to change.
• Passion for improving existing processes, ideally supported by knowledge of change management.
• Ability to lead constant improvements and changes

Preferred Skills:

• Experience or knowledge of the semiconductor industry or a related industry is an advantage.
• Lean management – believe in the philosophy, understand the principles, and implement the methodologies

Als Senior Production Manager (m/w/d) im Bereich der Herstellung elektromechanischer Geräte stellen Sie gemeinsam mit Ihrem Team einen reibungslosen Produktionsablauf in einer modernen, sauberen Arbeitsumgebung sicher, die teilweise unter Reinraumbedingungen betrieben wird. Dabei betreuen Sie internationale Kunden aus der Halbleiterindustrie. Sie verantworten die Bereiche Produktion, Geräteprüfung (Testing) und Manufacturing Engineering und stellen die Einhaltung von Qualitätsstandards sicher, überwachen Produktionsziele und verantworten die Schichtplanung. Mit einer lösungsorientierten Denkweise erkennen und nutzen Sie kontinuierlich ungenutzte Verbesserungspotenziale innerhalb unserer Fertigung mit geringeren Stückzahlen (Low-Volume-Manufacturing).

Ihr Beitrag zum Erfolg

• Planung und Steuerung der Aktivitäten in den Produktionsbereichen zur Erreichung von Produktions-, Qualitäts- und Kostenzielen.
• Entwicklung und Verwaltung von Prozessen, Richtlinien und Budgets.
• Erstellung von Budgetempfehlungen für Investitionsausgaben sowie für direkte und indirekte Personalressourcen.
• Rekrutierung, Entwicklung und Führung von Mitarbeitenden.
• Erstellung von Einsatz- und Schichtplänen sowie Ermittlung des Personalbedarfs in den verantworteten Bereichen.
• Konzeption von Montage- und Prüfarbeitsplätzen sowie deren optimale Integration in den Produktionsprozess.
• Durchführung von Kundenbesuchen.
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Arbeits-, Gesundheits-, Sicherheits- und Umweltvorschriften.
• Kontinuierliche Verbesserung des Produktionsumfelds nach den Prinzipien des Lean Manufacturing.

Das bringen Sie mit

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwissenschaften, Naturwissenschaften oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung.
• Einschlägige Berufserfahrung in einem produzierenden Umfeld mit Führungsverantwortung.
• Nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Führung vielfältiger Teams, idealerweise im Produktionsumfeld, kombiniert mit modernen und innovativen Führungsmethoden.
• Ausgeprägtes technisches Verständnis für Fertigungs- und Prüfprozesse.
• Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein sowie Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Gefahrstoffen.
• Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten auf allen Unternehmensebenen in deutscher und englischer Sprache.
• Ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie Offenheit gegenüber Veränderungen.
• Leidenschaft für die Optimierung bestehender Prozesse, idealerweise ergänzt durch Kenntnisse im Change Management.
• Fähigkeit, kontinuierliche Verbesserungen und Veränderungsprozesse erfolgreich voranzutreiben.
