Senior Production Manager, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

A global name in Exhibition Stand Design & Construction, Event Infrastructure, and Event Wayfinding & Sponsor Signage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire production teams, both in the workshop and onsite, to deliver stunning, custom-built stands and structures.
• Be Hands-On Liaise with Design, Sales, and Project Management to bring ideas to life from concept through to flawless execution.
• Problem-Solve Tackle complex builds, supplier management, and logistics like a pro.
• Optimise and continuously improve internal systems and workflows.
• Collaborate to build great relationships with clients, suppliers, and our talented crew.

Requirments:

• Extensive experience in exhibition stand production, event structures, and temporary architecture.
• Mastery of materials: MDF, plastics, XBoard, lighting, prints, finishes.
• Software savvy: SketchUp (basicmid), Maxcut, Office Suite, Google Drive. CAD experience is a bonus!
• Deep knowledge of Octanorm systems and custom fabrication.
• Ability to lead from the front gain the respect of the production team and inspire quality and efficiency.
• Strong skills in budget tracking, supplier negotiations, project planning (Gantt charts), and onsite management.
• Own transport required.
