Job Summary

As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging product design and manufacturing excellence, ensuring that engineering solutions are effectively translated into efficient production processes. This position requires strong technical expertise in 3D CAD modeling, product design, and manufacturing engineering, enabling you to create and optimize technical documentation that supports both new and existing products. You will work closely with Global Engineering and Design Teams to develop innovative solutions, improve manufacturability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate combines a hands-on engineering mindset with advanced design capabilities and a deep understanding of production environments. Your contributions will directly impact product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and the successful implementation of engineering changes worldwide.

What you will do

  • Work collaboratively with Global Engineering and Design Teams to create, design, update, and optimize product documentation, including 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and technical specifications using CAD software.
  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D CAD models and manufacturing documentation in accordance with company standards and engineering best practices.
  • Translate product design requirements into robust manufacturing solutions, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and support engineering change management activities, including design modifications, drawing updates, and technical documentation revisions.
  • Provide technical expertise during new product introductions, production transfers, and process improvement projects.
  • Support manufacturing process optimization through design improvements, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to product and process performance.
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers in technical drawing interpretation, CAD modeling, and manufacturing engineering practices.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience in 3D CAD design.
  • Strong experience in creating manufacturing drawings.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, machining, welding, fabrication, or industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience working in a production or industrial environment.
