The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Product Specialist to join the Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data team supporting Boeing Global Services (BGS)-Government Supply Chain AI & Analytics team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood; or Dallas, TX

This person will spearhead the development and implementation of data and AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment among cross-functional (Enterprise AI and Data (EAID) and Business) teams. Be a visionary leader who can translate complex analytics into actionable business strategies while motivating and guiding team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Analytics Engagement and Business Leaders to gain a deep understanding of the business challenges and objectives

  • Analyze and synthesize insights to define the scope of AI initiatives

  • Organize and lead execution workshops to define the 12-week project scope, identifying key insights, business actions, and the overall value proposition of the AI and data product

  • Assess the project team structure and clarify the roles and responsibilities of each member

  • Facilitate alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables

  • Foster a culture of collaboration within the project team, ensuring clear communication and expectations

  • Establish a communication plan that promotes transparency and accountability

  • Conduct a comprehensive kick-off meeting to outline the project charter, team roles, stakeholder expectations, communication strategies, escalation paths, risks, and timelines

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with business goals

  • Create and manage Azure Development Operations (DevOps) stories for team members, facilitating sprint planning and execution

  • Deliver incremental features in each sprint, leveraging thought leadership to optimize sprint planning and delivery

  • Lead stakeholder status updates every three weeks, presenting project progress, demos, data flows, model results, risks, and next steps

  • Translate technical analytics details into business-friendly language to ensure stakeholder understanding and engagement

  • Hold both analytics and business teams accountable for timely deliveries, maintaining consistent messaging regarding business process change management

  • Clarify the actions that business leaders will take based on the AI and data solution

  • Prepare a comprehensive report summarizing project achievements, highlights, and the anticipated business value of the solution

  • Ensure that each team member articulates their contributions, fostering a sense of ownership and recognition

  • Continuously motivate and challenge the project team, instilling a sense of urgency and purpose

  • Lead by example, demonstrating commitment and enthusiasm for the project and its outcomes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data warehousing, statistical data mining, and/or data science

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Support

  • 3+ years of experience in product management related to data, analytics, and/or artificial intelligence

  • Experience developing data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire and Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • Experience in leading program execution in the AI/ML space

  • Experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, or Azure

  • Ability to create an effective collaboration across business and cross-functional analytics team Experience in managing and efficiently reporting analytics operations working through helpdesk tickets

  • Ability to execute flawlessly by removing all barriers and with a sense of urgency
