Senior Product Specialist

Senior Product Specialist:

As a Product Specialist for Data Powered Sales integration, you will be responsible and play a leading role in the dedicated zone of the CH Integration Mesh for our unit. Integrations are supposed to the treated like products with a continues lifecycle, ensuring seamless design, development, implementation and monitoring and maintenance. You will be working closely with our lead integration architects, integration engineers and manage our integration development teams and guide, train and help onboarding integration teams embedded into product teams in our unit. You will contribute as well to our future strategy and priority setting in our integration and data management landscape.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• System integration: Connects various software and hardware systems, ensuring they can communicate and transfer data correctly.
• Business and Technical process analysis and writing business and technical solution design specifications
• Technical problem-solving: Works to identify and resolve issues that arise when different systems need to work together.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Acts as a bridge between internal teams (like development, production, and after-sales) and sometimes external vendors and clients to ensure successful integration projects.
• Environment management: Commissioning and maintaining integration and test environments.
• Project management: Helps plan and organize the integration of data between products.
• Support and training: Assists users with problems and helps on-board integration developers on Bayers’ MESH integration systems.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• 10 years expertise in similar technical role: Deep understanding of network technology, various operating systems, and how different software platforms connect.
• Problem-solving: Ability to systematically isolate and correct malfunctions.
• Communication: Good interpersonal skills are essential for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Abstract thinking: Necessary for planning and organizing complex systems.
• Programming: Basic programming skills in Javascript/Node.js can be helpful for creating helper programs or simulation environments. Working with VSCode, understanding different database technology and SQL/NoSQL language dialects.
• Familiarity with tools: Experience with project management tools (like Azure), communication platforms (like Teams), and data analysis tools is often required.
