The Opportunity

As a Senior Product Sales Specialist – Construction Equipment, you'll work closely with dealers, customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to drive the adoption and success of John Deere Construction Equipment solutions across the market.
Today, this role combines product expertise, customer engagement, and dealer capability development. In the future, it will increasingly focus on helping customers optimise workflows, improve jobsite productivity, and realise measurable business outcomes through integrated solutions.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Supporting dealers and customers with product demonstrations, application expertise, and sales support.
• Translating technical product capabilities into practical customer benefits and economic outcomes.
• Developing dealer capability through training, coaching, and scalable learning solutions.
• Gathering and translating customer insights into meaningful recommendations for the business.
• Supporting the successful adoption of technology-enabled solutions including connectivity, automation, and data-driven services.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, product support, and global teams to improve customer outcomes and business performance.

This role is Perth based that means you are working in your home-based office when not traveling.

What Will Make You Successful

You bring a unique combination of technical credibility, commercial thinking, and customer focus and strong relationship skills.
You'll likely have experience in:
• Experience within Construction, forestry, or related heavy equipment applications or industries.
• Strong knowledge of dealer, distributor, or channel sales environments.
• Customer-facing product sales, demonstrations, or technical support.
• Consultative selling and solution-based customer conversations.
• Working across multiple stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
• A proactive, agile and self-driven mindset with a willingness to take ownership.
• Skill in interpersonal communications, and attention to detail
• Most importantly, you can connect the dots between equipment, application, productivity, and commercial value

Qualification:

A relevant technical trade qualification or university degree is highly regarded.
