In this role, you'll:

Work as a Senior Product Owner and will be responsible for planning and prioritisation of the product roadmap, and the delivery of customer & business outcomes. You will contribute to the design of a technology product and features, implementing plans relative to customer strategy, priorities, and budgets. This role advocates and represents the voice of the customer and specifically relates to the Personality Generation toolset for Traffic Signal Controllers.

Key accountabilities include/not limited to:

  • Owning the product backlog (refine and prioritise), ensuring the customer is at the forefront of decision making to align delivery to the larger business and product vision and strategy
  • Acting as the bridge to connect the product and development teams, translating the product strategy and vision, developing epics, features, and user stories, streamlining and enabling product development effort
  • Driving product direction across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, maximising value produced, enabling successful development and the delivery of products
  • Helping to create a product and features that not only delight, but solve customer problems or pain points, championing the voice of the customer, based on analytics and insights
  • Contributing to the implementation of best practice product management including tools, processes, and frameworks, supporting the establishment of a market and customer led business

About you

For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:

  • Circa 10+ years performing the duties/responsibilities associated with an all-round Product Owner
  • Experience with having taken a product/service from start to completion
  • Proven abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional agile products, portfolio and delivery teams, defining product and delivering great customer outcomes
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., a science degree majoring in technology and/or similar
  • You’re a problem solver, you like to solve puzzles, you love working towards a common group goal, but you are equally adept and comfortable working autonomously

Preferred but not essential:

  • Background in a similar role within the telecommunications sector

This is a fixed terms flexible hybrid role (22 months). 50% of your time will be office based, with 25% of that time based from our offices in Sydney.
