YOUR MISSION

You combine hands-on Product Ownership with strategic Product Management on our Salesforce-based commerce platform for emerging and growth markets. You act as the bridge between Product Owners, markets, internal stakeholders, and platform partners, deciding which features markets need, which capabilities the ecosystem offers, and which we adopt, build, or decline. Your mission is to evolve the platform from an efficient rollout engine into an innovation adoption hub.

Product Ownership

  • Own the product backlog and roadmap: translate portfolio strategy into prioritized, outcome-led user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable success criteria.

  • Align the roadmap to portfolio objectives, market rollout plans, and the Salesforce release cycle.

  • Continuously refine priorities based on performance data, market feedback, and vendor input.

Platform Evolution & Ecosystem

  • Actively manage the Salesforce roadmap: evaluate releases and standard capabilities and turn them into adoption opportunities and "adopt before build."

  • Represent the platform in Salesforce Product Advisory Boards and build close relationships with Salesforce Product Management.

  • Develop the strategic partnership with our implementation partner, including joint template evolution and use of partner accelerators and industry learnings.

  • Establish structured review and selective adoption of proven innovations from our global flagship platforms.

  • Own template governance while shifting the platform from reactive maintenance to proactive evolution.

Market, Stakeholder & Vendor Bridge

  • Act as the single interface between Product Owners, markets, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Systematically collect, consolidate, and prioritise market demand and rollout learnings across all markets; evaluate them against ecosystem capabilities.

  • Make transparent adopt / adapt / build / reject recommendations including value, effort, cross-market scalability, and total cost of ownership following the principle "curate innovation, don't create it."

  • Turn capabilities proven in one market into reusable platform patterns available to all.

  • Manage competing demands openly, saying "no" or "not yet" with clear reasoning, and ensure markets understand what is coming, when, and why.

Delivery & Performance

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and vendor delivery teams for high-quality, timely delivery including Salesforce upgrades and platform stability.

  • Manage dependencies across teams, markets, and vendors in a complex global environment, escalate risks and trade-offs early to the Teamhead.

  • Contribute to portfolio KPIs (e.g. conversion, engagement, reliability, rollout velocity) and define success metrics with Data & Analytics including for adopted ecosystem capabilities.

  • Communicate impact, learnings, and performance clearly to markets, stakeholders, and leadership.

YOUR TALENT

  • 6–8+ years in digital product roles (Product Manager, Product Owner, or hybrid).

  • Proven experience at the intersection of internal product teams, market/regional organizations, and external vendors or platform providers including adopt / adapt / build decisions.

  • Experience with enterprise commerce or CRM platforms, ideally the Salesforce ecosystem (release management, capability evaluation, template governance), and with multi-market rollouts.

  • Strong requirements engineering turning diverse market and stakeholder input into clear, prioritized, buildable requirements.

  • Confident vendor management: challenging proposals, negotiating scope, holding partners accountable.

  • Ability to balance platform standardization with market-specific needs, and technical complexity with consumer experience quality.

  • Data-driven mindset and excellent communication skills able to translate between technical teams, business stakeholders, markets, and vendors.

  • Diplomatic yet decisive: comfortable aligning many voices and still making the call.
