Job Description

About Novigi

Novigi is the data and technology partner to the Financial Services Industry with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Wollongong and Colombo, Sri Lanka. At our core, we are data-driven transformation and business optimisation experts. We partner with our clients to transform their business functions through the clever use of data and interoperability. We do this by offering a range of services and solutions.

Role Overview:

You bring a practical consulting mindset to process transformation, combining structured analysis, industry insight, and a strong understanding of how AI can improve the way work gets done. You are comfortable assessing current-state operations, identifying opportunities for reinvention, and helping shape future-state processes that are clearer, faster, more scalable, and better supported by technology.

You understand that successful AI-enabled transformation requires more than automation. It requires thoughtful design of how people, systems, and AI agents work together, including where AI should act independently, where human judgement is required, and how handoffs should operate within redesigned processes.

Key Responsibilities

Use AI-enabled methods, analytical tooling, and consulting disciplines to support process transformation initiatives, including:

  • Analyse current-state processes, pain points, performance gaps, and root causes to define practical transformation opportunities.
  • Develop future-state process designs that incorporate AI touchpoints, automation opportunities, operating model changes, controls, and adoption considerations.
  • Prepare clear process specifications, design artefacts, analysis packs, and recommendations that can be used by delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct change-impact assessments to help clients understand their current position and prioritise improvement initiatives.
  • Apply relevant industry or functional knowledge to validate process designs and ensure recommendations are practical, credible, and aligned to business needs.
  • Define how AI agents should operate within redesigned processes, including decision boundaries, autonomy levels, exception handling, escalation points, and human handoffs.
  • Contribute to internal methods, reusable assets, reference materials, and knowledge libraries that support ongoing AI-enabled process transformation work.

Education

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in process improvement, process redesign, transformation delivery, or management consulting.
  • Experience developing process analysis, trend analysis, benchmarking, business cases, or change-impact material for business stakeholders.
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, visualisation, productivity, or deliverable development.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, workflow, data, or digital solutions in a business process context.
  • Eperience working in a consulting environment or within an industry domain such as financial services, insurance, technology, communications, health, public sector, retail, energy, utilities, industrials, or natural resources.
  • Ability to interpret data, structure insights, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with process mapping, process modelling, workflow, or business architecture tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings in concise business language.
  • Client-facing advisory, consulting, or stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Confidence applying AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and insightfulness of consulting deliverables.
  • Understanding of AI design considerations such as agent behaviour, autonomy, controls, handoffs, and exception management.
  • Ability to identify where agentic AI could materially improve specific process steps or end-to-end journeys.
  • Experience using data, benchmarks, operating metrics, or maturity assessments to support future-state design decisions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging AI, automation, and transformation practices.
