As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a critical role in delivering large-scale transformation across Wealth Management by modernizing client and account onboarding and servicing experiences. This role sits at the center of cross-functional delivery, driving initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve Advisor productivity, and enable scalable, compliant client growth. You will own the product vision and roadmap for complex, multi-system capabilities, partnering across business, technology, and operations to deliver seamless, end-to-end client journeys aligned with strategic outcomes.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for onboarding and servicing capabilities, aligned to business strategy, regulatory requirements, and client needs
  • Translate strategic priorities into a clear, actionable roadmap with defined outcomes and measurable impact
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring delivery teams are aligned to highest-value initiatives
  • Drive end-to-end execution across squads, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Lead resolution of complex delivery challenges across systems, partners, and stakeholders
  • Lead the design and optimization of onboarding and servicing journeys to eliminate friction and improve usability
  • Identify and address key pain points through data, feedback, and continuous iteration
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable improvements in client and Advisor experience
  • Leverage data, research, and industry insights to inform decision-making and prioritization
  • Monitor outcomes and continuously refine the roadmap based on performance, adoption, and business impact
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, scope, and delivery outcomes
  • Ensure initiatives adhere to risk, compliance, and operational standards
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership
  • Foster a high-performing, client-focused team culture
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development across the organization
  • Challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement in processes and ways of working

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
  • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Agile, PMP, CFA, CSM) are assets
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent designation preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, preferably within wealth management, financial services, and/or fintech
  • A proven track record delivering complex, large-scale initiatives in regulated environments
  • A deep understanding of client onboarding, servicing workflows, and associated regulatory considerations
  • A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong delivery management skills with experience navigating competing priorities and ambiguity
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into product decisions
  • Experience working with complex systems and workflows; exposure to APIs or workflow platforms is an asset
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and workflow visualization tools (e.g., Visio)
  • Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies
