Senior Product Operations Manager (12-month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hong Kong

Function: Supply Chain Commercial Operations

Reporting to: Head of Commercial Operations - Asia

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Travel: As required to support business needs

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Operations Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, leading product operations, supplier excellence and compliance across Asia.

In this role, you will help ensure our suppliers are aligned with business priorities, operational requirements, customer expectations and growth plans. You will drive improvements in supplier performance and capability, strengthen operational readiness and manage supplier-related risks.

Working across Product, Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial teams, you will turn supplier and operational insights into clear actions and recommendations. You will also influence sourcing and supplier decisions, support category growth and launch readiness, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

What you’ll be doing

Leading product operations and supplier excellence

  • Lead supplier performance management across product standards, capacity utilisation and operational excellence.
  • Develop and enhance supplier KPIs, scorecards and performance measures to align with business priorities.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews using Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards and operational insights.
  • Partner with Category, Product, Operations and Quality teams to identify performance gaps and develop supplier improvement plans.
  • Work with suppliers to identify best practices in manufacturing, quality and production processes.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring agreed actions are delivered.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Business Improvement Lead.
  • Partner with the Head of Commercial Operations, Asia to implement and embed process improvements.

Strengthening governance, risk management and operational readiness

  • Ensure supplier information and insights are used effectively to support decision-making, governance, onboarding, exiting and performance improvement.
  • Lead monthly supplier reviews, quarterly business reviews and supplier governance meetings.
  • Monitor supplier performance trends and provide visibility of emerging risks, capability gaps and operational concerns.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans where required.
  • Drive accountability for corrective actions and ensure improvement initiatives are documented, communicated and completed.
  • Translate supplier performance information into practical recommendations and actions.

Influencing across the business

  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial teams.
  • Influence supplier and business decisions through data, insight and commercial judgement.
  • Represent Product Operations in supplier and cross-functional forums.
  • Promote a culture of supplier excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in supplier performance, supplier development or supplier relationship management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of supplier performance, product data systems and operational improvement.
  • The ability to interpret KPI scorecards, dashboards and performance trends and turn the findings into practical actions.
  • Strong problem-solving, risk-assessment and root-cause investigation skills.
  • The confidence to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and supplier-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your message for different audiences.
  • A proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred, both written and verbal.
